| Kingfisher County is the center of the U.S. Cereal Grain Crop production area, with wheat production of 6-7 million bushels raised annually off of 260-280,000 acres. (Each bushel represents 72 loaves of bread!) Other cereal grains grown in the county include barley, corn, alfalfa, various types of hay, rye, sorghum, and soybeans.
